Here at UN Cloud IT, we understand that while adopting new technology will go a long way toward streamlining your business and keeping your team competitive, there can also be an associated learning curve that takes a while to overcome. If your team is thinking of switching to Zoho One, we can help you make that transition as smooth as possible and offer expert advice on how to get the most out of the platform. We have been a Zoho Authorized Partner since 2008, and we are here to give you a few key tips to get started.
- Make a long-term plan. Our first tip for successfully adapting to Zoho One is to create a long-term plan for making that transition. Zoho One is a robust platform with over 40 different apps, so it’s definitely not a switch you can make in a week. Having a timeline and a strategy for how to approach the transition will make the process much easier.
- Take advantage of the database. Another piece of advice that we at UN Could IT want to offer about Zoho One is to take advantage of its database capabilities. If your company has a lot of old spreadsheets, transferring them to the database will make that data infinitely more accessible and therefore useful, as you’ll be able to neatly summarize the contents with reports and views.
- Assign an administrator. Lastly, we recommend that you assign one or more administrators to your Zoho One apps. The administrator takes on the responsibility of checking the accuracy and completeness of the database, letting the rest of your team know when details are incorrect or just plain missing and hounding the right people until these issues are fixed. Putting specific people in charge of this side of things will save you a lot of grief in the long run.
